from the south of China to the Andaman Sea at Leamsak, Krabi, Thailand.

During the period of 2300 – 2400 AD, Because of the tough lives and massive population increasing in China, caused many Chinese to leave China and the great majority of them came from Fujian Province in China to the Malay Peninsula, including Singapore, Malacca, Penang, and along the Andaman Coastal provinces of Thailand known as Phuket, Phang-Nga, Krabi, Trang, and Ranong.

As one of the destination that the first group of Chinese settlers decided to settle in and led their new lives, Leamsak with its fertility and suitability where later becomes the signature location. They bonded their diverse cultures with native through marriages and created the new distinctive culture called “Baba Nyonya”, this culture also known as “Peranakan”, which means “of mixed race”. They passed the valuable philosophy with the unique lifestyle as shown in their costume, cuisine, language as well as architecture.

From past to present from Fujian to Laemsak, as Baba Nyonya descendants, we realize our uniqueness and wish to keep our culture alive with gratefulness to our beloved ancestors therefore “Bulan Anda Baba Resort” was built in order to achieve that idea.



Bulan Anda Baba Resort is situated at the end of Laemsak cape, with the spectacular view of Andaman Sea. It takes about 50 minutes from the Krabi International Airport and can be easily access to must-see destinations in Krabi town. The resort is founded by “Permzup” family (Xie family) with Social Enterprise concept in order to get the local community participation and aimed for mutual benefit.
